'Know ye that the Lord is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture' (Psalm 100: 3).

All of humanity should acknowledge that the Lord Himself is God! He created us and we not we ourselves, therefore, we are His people and the sheep of his pasture. How wonderful is it to know, that this Sovereign God is our Creator and Shepherd? We are not an accident, or something that evolved, or an afterthought. We are created beings, created by a loving God and was thought about before the foundation of the world. How does knowing that, make you feel about God? And even thou Adam and Eve sinned, and was disconnected with God, and as a result we all inherited their sinful nature; Each one of us have the opportunity to reconnect with God, through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. It is a wonderful thing to know, that God owns us by creation, and by redemption - all who are willing to come to Him. Knowing they are His blood-bought children, who were once dead in sin but are alive to God in Christ. Listen, we are His people and the sheep of his pasture. He daily provides for our needs, protect and give us peace. We must therefore, give thanks to God; we must acknowledge that He is deserving of loyalty and submission, because He is God and is steadfast forever, and his faithfulness is from generation to generation.
Let us joyfully praise the Lord, serve Him with gladness and worship him with singing; knowing He is the Lord our God, whose love is unfailing, and will never let us down.

Have a wonderful day

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead , yet shall he live;' (John 11:25). The story of Lazarus is a well known one in the Bible. He and his sisters Martha and Mary were friends of Jesus, who loved them. Lazarus became sick and died, and after four days Jesus raised him from the dead. This was more for benefits of those around including His disciples, so that they may truly believe that God had sent him.  He was speaking  with Martha who was more focused on the telling Jesus the problem, than demanding a specific solution. We too can be so focus on the problems we faced, that we forget that God is  much bigger that the problem and is our solution to them. When Jesus told her Lazarus would rise again, she understood it to mean he would live again someday. But Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believes in me, though he was dead, yet shall he live." Christ at this time, was able...

'The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him' (Lamentations 3:25). For many people, waiting is not something we like to do. Waiting can bring about stress, anxiety, irritability and impatience at some points in our lives. It can also bring joy, peace, hope and happiness. We all encounter waiting in our different ways, whether its news of a new arrival in the family where there may be complications; news of a health condition; news of a love one pulling through an illness; news of a job promotion; and for believers waiting with hope and anticipation for the coming of Lord Jesus. Here Jeremiah is saying to Israel and to us that, "The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him." What is the benefit of waiting on the Lord? The Lord will renew our strength, he will not allow us to be weary or faint (Isaiah 40:31). He will be good to all who wait upon him. The Lord  will also be good to us when we search for him. W...
