'The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say destroy them'
(Deuteronomy 33:27).
The eternal God is our source of refuge and a dwelling place of safety. We can find protection and security in Him, as we experienced the storms of life. He was always there for Israel, throughout their wilderness experience, as a source of comfort and strength, as He is for us in our own Christian experience. For He is our everlasting God, our refuge, and underneath are his everlasting arms to support and save us in our times of trouble and from our adversaries. It is through His Word and by His Holy Spirit, that the eternal God reveal himself to us. That's how we know Him and what his purpose for us are. Let us through the study and meditation of His Word, know and understand that He is our protector in a perverse world, who seek to do us harm. We must realise that He is our Refuge and strength, and underneath are his everlasting arms to uphold, strengthen, protect and support us. As we look inwardly, let us recognise our sinfulness; flee for refuge in Christ and seek to find safety and support in His everlasting arm. His mighty hands are under the world to uphold it; to His church to support it; and his people whom he bears up under their trials, afflictions and temptations, as he carries them lovingly in his arms. Christ, our Lord shall thrust out Satan from the lives of his people and destroy him forever. For those who are enemies of his people, the Lord will also thrust out before them, and give the order to destroy them. He will make His people more than conqueror over them. Let us trust in the Lord and give our hearts totally to Him, who is able to sustain, protect, support in times of trouble, and uphold us underneath his everlasting arms.
Have a wonderful day
Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...
