'It is good that a man should both hope and, quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord'
(Lamentations 3:26).

The Children of Israel complained and grumbled against the Living God, throughout their journey from Egypt to the Promised Land. They at times want things their own way and not doing what God desires for them.
The Word of God is saying to us, wait quietly and trust that even when things are bad and reached its highest peak; our salvation is secure in Christ. We should not seek to do our own thing, in our own way, but give allowance for the Holy Spirit to work on our hearts, so we can do it God's way- the right way.
There are lessons to learn about God's great faithfulness and unfailing mercies, which are new every morning. We should learn to understand the importance of trusting the Lord and to wait in His timing
Our Lord had to endure many difficult and distressing circumstances while he was on earth seeking to save humanity. As Children of God, we too will face trials, tribulation, and insult from those who are of the Devil and do not know God. We must thank God for His steadfast, unchanging and never ending love; and His mercies that never cease. We thank the Lord that it is, a good thing to trust Him and to wait quietly and trustingly for His deliverance. Let us rest in the Lord and wait quietly for his salvation.
Just as Jeremiah learnt lessons through his school of afflictions, we too, who are facing serious and tumultuous conditions in a world of darkness. Let us learn in the very circumstances we are called upon to face - that is, it is good to trust in the Lord and to totally depend on Him. Let us seek out the Lord, and acknowledge His desire to teach us, that His mercies are new every morning and his faithfulness eternal. Let us trust and wait quietly, for deliverance, as we praise your name.

Have  a wonderful day

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
