'But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus' (Philippians 4:19).

Many of us at times confuse our 'needs' with our 'wants'. However, what we 'need' and what we 'want' are not always the same thing. A need is something you have to have to survive and a want is simply the desire for something. God is our provider and whatever resources He has given us, must be used according to His purposes, in order for blessing to come. When we allow our needs to be met through Christ, the one who made and control all things; we will never lack. When we trust God to provide our true needs - not materialistic; we will not be consumed by worry, anxieties and worldly desires regardless of our circumstances. We will be confident that God will bless us. When we rely on the power of Christ, we will be content and be filled with God's peace as we seek to have a good relationship with each other. God knows our daily needs before we even asked him and will supply them generously to us according to His riches in glory. Why? Because we are in Christ, and by our faith in Him, we become God's children. As a result, our gracious God promised to supply all our needs. It therefore behoves us to give God thanks and glorify Him for all his abundant supplies. Let us be not anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let our request be known to God (Philippians 4:6). God has given us a promise of future grace that He, our God will supply every need of ours according to  his riches in glory in Christ, His Son. Let us live in faith of this promise of future grace. God doesn't want us to worry about our future, He has that all sorted. He will supply what is necessary for your spiritual and physical needs, so just trust Him and keep being generous with the little you have. Don't give up on God because you feel your physical needs are not met. If you do so, you give up on any chance of having your real needs ever met. Be a generous giver in the whatever you have and God will supply your every need more abundantly.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
