'For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known' (Luke12:2).

Jesus was speaking to his disciples, warning them against the dangers of hypocrisy being  displayed by the Pharisees. We all have a  responsibility towards our salvation and of such must live according to the will of God. Every secret or personal sin we manifest in our hearts is known to God. It may not be detected even in our  interaction with  others, but will be made known in the judgement. All professed children of God should avoid the sin of hypocrisy, and live a life of honesty, integrity and transparency. We must reflect on who we are in Christ, bringing all our failures, weaknesses and successes humbly before God. We should ask ourselves, is there anything in my life of which I will be ashamed in the day of judgement? When Jesus comes all will be laid bare and our hypocrisy will be unmasked. Anything we have hidden in our lives will be brought to light. It is our responsibility to bring all to the Lord in prayer; confessing our sins, that it may be well with our soul. Looking at the Pharisees, they were pious and full if pride. They preached one thing but live contrary to it. Jesus could see through their vice and warn his disciples against such attitude. Jesus is speaking to our hearts to be careful of not falling in the same trap as the Pharisees. He is saying to us, "there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed; nothing hid, that shall not be known. Let our hearts be uncorrupted and our conversation be one of honesty and fairness; that we may not be put to shame in the day of judgement. When Jesus comes He will make known the secrets of men's hearts, where their iniquities were not forgiven and their sins not covered. Let us come to Christ, confessing all sins that we will not be put to shame and lose our place in heaven. As we live out our daily lives, I pray others will see Christ portrayed in us so they too can experience Christ.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
