'Let me live to praise You; may Your judgements sustain me' (Psalm 119:175).

Our lives are not our own to do as we please, it is God who gives life and we should live to praise and give Him thanks. Are you not grateful for life? Are you not grateful that in Christ we can have  hope of a better and more glorious life with Him? Sin has deformed our life and separate us from God, but His love and grace is greater than sin; and it is Christ who has restored and reconciled us back to God. We have so much to praise and thank God for. We all need to see God and accept His salvation. We need to ask Him to instruct us in the way to go and to help us in our struggles to overcome sin and practice holiness.   The world we live in is in a state of great confusion; many storms are brewing and many are now raging. We who trust and have our hope in God, ought to lift up our eyes to the judgements of God and let it sustain us. We must praise God! Let praise to the Almighty God be our lifestyle, let love for God help us to live a holy life and through the aid of the Holy Spirit inspire praise to others. Learn to praise God in every situation. In conflict and opposition praise Him; in times of oppression give praise; in sickness,  distress, anguish and pain, praise God; in the good times and happy moments give praise Him. In our service to God, live to praise Him. David prayed to God to let him live to praise Him and that His judgement may sustain him. He longs for God and wants to live in praise to Him, even though he was going through the raging storms of his left. He wanted God to strengthen him so He could praise Him. We too must follow sooth in our praise to God in difficult times. Let Gods word be our grounds for hope in times of trouble as we reach out for God's help. In our lives let prayer be our breath, thoughts of God bring gladness, sweetness and peace to our hearts and our love for God grows heavenwards and across to one another. Live in praise to God as you do the great work He has called you to do.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
