'Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face   continually' (1 Chronicles 16:11).

The Lord Almighty is our refuge and strength. He is our Maker and each one of us are created uniquely for his purpose. It was sin that separate us from God and his presence and through Christ we have been restored to Him. The text reminds us of the importance of seeking God. It is a faithful reminder that our strength is found in him, that our grace is from his loving presence and our hope is in seeing him face to face one day. When we know God we want to be near him and to be in His presence. We should look to the Lord always for direction and not follow our own path. It behoves us to reflect on the presence of God and his glory; to talk of his wondrous love and works in our homes, our place of work, our schools and social gatherings. It is important to speak more of His wondrous work then we do of men's work. We seek and worship the Lord because He is full of joy and strength; because of His holiness; He is the Lord our God; His protection; He is good and his love endures forever. He had an abundance of strength and our strength comes from Him, therefore, we must seek his strength. In times when we feel helpless, weary and lack strength, the Lord will strengthen us and give power to us when we are weak. Our strength will fail us but the strenth we find in the Lord will never fail us. We  need to seek God's face and enjoy his gracious presence that we have through Christ. When we trust in Him, He promises us never to leave or forsake us. We must purpose in our heart to search for Him with our whole heart, because we will find him. Let us seek God continually in good times and bad times; let us seek His favour and strength. He is worthy of such, because He is God.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and

'I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you' (John 14:18). Jesus is awesome and full of compassion. He loved his disciples and wanted them to understand about His death and resurrection; that He would be going away for a while. He knew they would be confused and devastated, so he hastened to comfort them. He said, 'Let not your heart be troubled: Ye believe in God, believe also in me...I go to prepare a place for you...I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also' (John 14:1-3). He also promised another Comforter, that he can abide with them forever. What a merciful and loving Saviour! He went further to say he would not leave them comfortless; but will come to them. He was like a father to them, as He and the Father are one. Therefore, He promised not to leave them fatherless, or as an orphan. But will come to them. Speaking of His death and resurrection He said that in a little while the world would not see him no more

'Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still' (Psalm 4:4). God knows everything about us, because he is God, our Creator and there is nothing that can be hidden from him. He knows the heart and the intents of the heart; Our thoughts, emotions, desires and motives, whether they be good or evil. He knows the godly from the ungodly, and have set apart those who are godly for himself, and will hear when they call unto him (verse 3). We are all called to be in a right relationship with God. Those who accept this call should have daily communion with Him through the study of His Word, prayer and supplications, allowing the Holy Spirit access in their hearts, that they might not wilfully sin against Him. We need to search our hearts daily and be silent before God as we contemplate his grace and his mercy towards us, and He will reveal Himself to us. When our enemies seek to do us harm, or people speak lies about us, simply look to Jesus and trus
