'For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation' (Roman's 10:10).

When one accepts Jesus as their Saviour and Lord, it is with their heart they believe and is justified and declared righteous by God - meaning they are cleared of all charges against them.
It is our faith in Christ that leads to salvation and it is both personal and internal. It is with our mouth that we express our faith in Christ as a result of what's happening in our heart leading us unto salvation.  We must have a willingness to confess the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in Him by faith, as the One whom God has sent to die for our sins. It is God alone who knows the thoughts and intent of the heart. He knows if our faith in Him is genuine, if we believe in His Son, who died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day, according to Scripture. Confession of Christ is as necessary to our salvation as our faith in Him. That is, faith us necessary to obtain the gift of righteousness. Confession is necessary to prove that this gift is received. We confess Christ because of our faith in Him, as the Son of God. Without faith it would be impossible to please God. In order to secure the salvation of our souls, we must have faith in God. Christ came to this world to save sinners, and all those who believe in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Let us keep trusting and believing in God, the One who save us by His grace through the blood of His Son Jesus Christ. We must also confess Christ before all, in every circumstances we may find ourselves. Christ promised that, whosoever will confess Him before men, He will confess before His Father which is in heaven. Let us not be ashame or afraid to acknowledge Christ and confess Him before men. But by faith, accept Him as our Crucified Lord and be saved for eternity.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah' (Exodus 15:23). The Isralites were on a high after the Red Sea experience and their deliverance from slavery in Egypt and Pharaoh's army. The Lord led them this way become He wanted them to realise that He was their God, their Deliverer, and their Protector. The people  murmured against Moses and God, but the Lord showed them that He was still willing to guide and protect them and be their Healer, if they would look to Him. When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters because they were bitter, so they murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink" (verse 24)? Sometimes  things happened to us in life, and we become very bitter and callous. It may be family issues; a friendship gone sour; conflicts; marriage broken down; sickness or even the death of a love one. But we need to guard against bitterness cree...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...
