'He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depth of the sea' (Micah 7:19).

When we sin against God, there are always consequences. In Scriptures we see where Israel, God's chosen people who were suppose to be a light to the heathen nations; sinned against God, turned to the heathen gods, rebelled and disobey God, time and time again. God punished them, led them into captivity, turned away from them in disgust, withdrew His presence and at times didn't want to even see them. But He is a loving, merciful and compassionate Father. When His people whom He loves, acknowledged their sins and iniquities and cried out to him; He turns and manifest His love to them again and applies His pardoning grace.  We all at one time or another, find ourselves in that situation; or may still be finding ourselves in those situations. However, when we call upon the Lord, our God, pleading for His forgiveness, He can't but turn to us again and pardon us. That's the God, he is. He is naturally compassionate, as He is merciful and longsuffering. He is full of compassion which never fails yet, and extend His tender mercies which are new every morning, to His people. Just as the good Samaritan had compassion and helped the man attacked by robbers and left to die by the roadside; poured oil and wine into the wounds of the man to help with the healing process. Our Lord and Good Samaritan, with compassion towards us binds up our brokenness; our wounds of discord; of unselfishness; disobedience; sinfulness and unforgiveness. He pours in our wounds the oil of His pardoning grace and heals us. It is for our sins that Christ died; to save us from everlasting death and to restore us back to the Image of God and to reconcile us to Him. Christ conquered and made an end to sin, taking it away with His precious blood. He removes our guilt by pardoning and securing us from the punishment and condemnation of sin, that we may live and reign with Him forever. Let us trust God and be obedient unto him, having confident in His Son who is able to save us from our sins. He promises to turn again and have compassion on us; to subdue our iniquities and cast them in the depths of the sea. What an awesome and amazing God we serve! Our sins when repented of, are covered, blotted out, and pardoned, by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Won't you trust Him and give Him your all, today?

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah' (Exodus 15:23). The Isralites were on a high after the Red Sea experience and their deliverance from slavery in Egypt and Pharaoh's army. The Lord led them this way become He wanted them to realise that He was their God, their Deliverer, and their Protector. The people  murmured against Moses and God, but the Lord showed them that He was still willing to guide and protect them and be their Healer, if they would look to Him. When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters because they were bitter, so they murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink" (verse 24)? Sometimes  things happened to us in life, and we become very bitter and callous. It may be family issues; a friendship gone sour; conflicts; marriage broken down; sickness or even the death of a love one. But we need to guard against bitterness cree...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...
