'Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth' (Isaiah 12:5).

Our Lord is indeed worthy of our praise! The Word of God says, "Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works" (Psalm 105:2). God is great and good; He is mighty and powerful, and the whole earth is full of His glory. Let's sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs to the glory of God; for He is from everlasting to everlasting. His righteousness excels all other righteousness, because He is pure, holy, perfect and spotless. Our own righteousness is as filthy rags, we need the righteousness of God to cover us. He is our atoning sacrifice who obtained an excellent victory over sin and death, and over Satan, that we may gain eternal life. Let us rejoice in the Lord, who is our Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer. His excellency is above all we can ever think, or imagine and is known in  all the earth. It is our duty to make it known to every nation, kindred and tongue and people of all the wondrous and excellent work God has done for all humanity. As we exhort and encourage others to praise God, we must not fail to give Him glory and honour ourselves. To us, praising and giving thanks to God should be a lifestyle, not when we feel like it. After the Red Sea experience, the Children of Israel, lead out by Miriam sung and praised God for His deliverance. We should praise God for sending His Son to reconciled us to himself; for deliverance from the clasp of Satan. We must greatly proclaim it to all the earth what God has done to save and reclaim us. Is the death and resurrection of Christ for your sin, worthy of your praise? Is God's love for you worthy of your praise? "For God son loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). Isn't this abundant ground for praising God? Let us give our whole heart to Jesus and never cease to worship Him.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah' (Exodus 15:23). The Isralites were on a high after the Red Sea experience and their deliverance from slavery in Egypt and Pharaoh's army. The Lord led them this way become He wanted them to realise that He was their God, their Deliverer, and their Protector. The people  murmured against Moses and God, but the Lord showed them that He was still willing to guide and protect them and be their Healer, if they would look to Him. When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters because they were bitter, so they murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink" (verse 24)? Sometimes  things happened to us in life, and we become very bitter and callous. It may be family issues; a friendship gone sour; conflicts; marriage broken down; sickness or even the death of a love one. But we need to guard against bitterness cree...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...
