'Forsake me not, O Lord: O my God, be not far from me' (Psalm 38:21).

God has promised His people that He will never leave or forsake them and that His presence will continue to be with them. We should be confident to trust the promises of God. When our friends, family, or others forsake us, God will lift us up to Himself and give us peace and  the courage to go on. He will always help us in our time of need; sometimes He allows us to go through the fire of hardship, strife, trials, alienation, adversity, to strengthen us or test our loyalty to Him; but He is indeed very much present. God is a compassionate Father and will not leave us in our troubles, nor sickness, nor in our sorrows. We can be assured that He hears us when we call upon Him. David prayer was one of urgency and persistency. His friends had forsaken him in a time of great need and he felt as all his strength left him, as a result of the affliction caused by others. He now pleaded with God, not to forsake him, or cease to care for him, nor be far from him, because he wouldn't be able to survive. We too have the assurance that when we call upon the Lord in our troubles or afflictions, He will hear and help us. Our faith in God is paramount, and whatever happens we must be assured of our salvation in God, through Christ. We have an Omnipresent God, who is everywhere for everyone who comes to Him; and is not far from His people. He will deliver us from our fears, anxieties, worries, perplexities and our imperfections; because He is God. At times He may withdraw from us for His purpose, or when we are disobedient, but His eyes are still on us. To us it might feel as if He has forsaken us, but his withdrawal is only temporary, for His divine purpose. Whenever we call upon God, He is present to help and deliver us. Let us have confidence and trust in the Almighty God, the Everlasting Father and believe, that when we call upon him, He will hear and help us.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead , yet shall he live;' (John 11:25). The story of Lazarus is a well known one in the Bible. He and his sisters Martha and Mary were friends of Jesus, who loved them. Lazarus became sick and died, and after four days Jesus raised him from the dead. This was more for benefits of those around including His disciples, so that they may truly believe that God had sent him.  He was speaking  with Martha who was more focused on the telling Jesus the problem, than demanding a specific solution. We too can be so focus on the problems we faced, that we forget that God is  much bigger that the problem and is our solution to them. When Jesus told her Lazarus would rise again, she understood it to mean he would live again someday. But Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believes in me, though he was dead, yet shall he live." Christ at this time, was able...

All our blessings; temporal or spiritual comes from him, which give us cause to trust Him forever. Christ our solid Rock in ages past and ages to come, is our Righteousness and and in Him we find shelter in the time of storm. We can trust Him at all times and in everything. To give us victory over sin and temptation; to bear us up under affliction and to help us withstand the spiritual attacks that may come our way. It is a good thing to put our confidence in the Lor...
