'Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not? (Lamentations 3:37).

God is the Creator of the universe. He spoke with  power and everything was done. He lovingly molded and fashioned man from the dust of the earth and breathe into man his breath, bringing life to him. God preserves and watches over the affairs of His world. He make judgement as our Judge, as a result of man been fallen. There is nothing that can come to pass without His command. If we think otherwise, we are denying His power and judgement. We can never understand the prerogatives of God, because He is God, and doeth whatsoever he pleaseth. He is wisdom and everything that takes place flows from His eternal and unchangeable counsel. God never changes, He is the same yesterday, today and forever more - the immutable God. Nothing is done in this world, that He doesn't see; even the evil surmising of men. All things that happen are because God allows them to. There is nothing that will come to pass if the command does come from God. Even when they seek to crucify Christ, He let them know it is only because God has allow it to happen, why it has happened. God watches and exercise care over the world, his eyes are everywhere. We turn to our own ways and change independently, but God is good, holy, just and righteous, who is not the author of evil. He allows things to happen at times for His glory. When we choose to disobey His commands, and do our own things there are consequences to pay, unless we turn to Him and repent of our sins. There is no wrong we have done, whether evil or good, that God doesn't know. He bring things to pass that He commands for His glory and for our eternal salvation. Our God alone is Sovereign and Ruler of all nations. Let us inquire of His holy word and study it, with the aid of the Holy Spirit; and be more open to the voice of God, excluding all other voices, that seek our attention. In God's Word is wisdom and assured protection. Let us therefore, not follow our own devices, intentions, speculations and theories; but Jesus as the Truth and the Way.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'For his merciful kindness is great towards us: and the truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise the Lord' (Psalm 117:2). The most important thing in life is having a relationship with God. It is through this relationship that we get to know our Maker and experience His love and His truth. When we recognised what God has truly done for us; of his great love and his faithfulness towards us; it should lead us to give Him praise and extol His holy name. God is kind to all his creatures and merciful to us as sinners, therefore, we know his merciful kindness is great towards us. In Christ, God has shown his mercy mixed with kindness, in giving up his Son to save us from our sins. For even though our sins be great, God's mercy is even greater than the sin. God's truth endures forever as his promises are sure. He is not slack concerning His promises to His people. He is trustworthy and faithful. The faithfulness and truth of God given in his promises never fails; nor does t...

'But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident for, the just shall live by faith' ( Galatians 3:11). Paul in speaking to the Galatians, admonished them not to listen to heresies, that would jeopardise their relationship with Christ. The same message is relevant to us today as well. Paul here was saying, following the law cannot save us. It is our trust in God and having  faith in his Son, Jesus Christ, that can make us  right with God. That was evident, that the just shall live by faith, not by our own works. It was Christ who had redeemed us from the curse of the law by the shedding of his precious blood. We are save and made right by God's grace through faith in Christ Jesus. Abraham was justified, because He believed God  and was accounted righteous. We who are seeds of Abraham, will receive the blessings of Abraham by believing in Christ by faith and not works. The Promised blessings of Abraham by God, wasn't just for him alone, but ...
