'Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
(Psalm 145:2).

Is God worthy of our praise? Of course, He does.  He is God, the Creator and our Father in heaven. He is Almighty, All Powerful, and All Knowing and the God of love and our peace. We must praise Him for His goodness, His providence, His Sovereignty and Kingship. We ought to thank God for sending Jesus, His Son to die for us and for giving us the insight into the plan of salvation; and where we are going as a result of the sacrifice made on our behalf. Let us bless the name of Jesus and give him praise. Every day is a new day, whatever our situation or our circumstances during the day, we should be grateful to God and bless and praise Him, give all glory and honour to His holy name. With Joy and pride we can exalt Him as our God. Every day we should seek to draw nearer to God, to seek His face and favour; to bless Him as we experience His grace and mercy. It should propel us to praise and worship Him for ever and ever. We should open ourselves to Him each morning in praise, prayer, thanksgiving and the study of His Word. We should reflect on what it means to have God in our lives; to reflect on His goodness and love and give him thanks. We must bless and give Him thanks for his marvellous works; for Jesus Christ, our Saviour and for the guidance of His Holy Spirit; for the hope of eternity with him. Our peace comes from God, and through our Lord, Jesus Christ, we should look to Him as the Giver of all our perfect gifts. Let us bless God every day for His mercies, for His fresh supplies of grace that comes from the fullness of Christ to whom all grace is given. Let us praise His name for ever and ever as long as God lends us breath, and with hope, of the world to come with Jesus and the host of heaven, to continue in praise.

Have a wonderful day and a blessed weekend 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
