'Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God and doeth his will, him he heareth' (John 9:31).

The Scribes and the Pharisees were angry at the testimony of the man born blind healed by Jesus. They tried to discredit Jesus of the miracle he had performed  but calling him a 'sinner.' Here the blind man with heartfelt gratitude to Jesus defended him saying, they might not know where he is from but the fact that He performed this healing miracle, where no other prophet had done is indeed a testament that he was from God. He continued to say"...We know that God heareth not sinners, but if any man be a worshipper of God and doeth his will, him he heareth." In other words, If this man is who you say he is, a "sinner;" God wouldn't have heard and assist him in doing this miracle, but the fact that God did, proved otherwise. It is very important that we understand that we are all sinners, whose righteousness is as filthy rags, and we are only save by grace through our faith in Jesus; And that God hears all who cry unto him at all times. Jesus came to save everyone, but it is those who cry out to him and accept his call of repentance that he hears. Jesus hears every penitent sinners cry and respond accordingly. However, if we allow sin to reign in our lives by opposing the law of God and continuously rejecting the Holy Spirit pleading, God will not hear. The Scriptures say, "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me" (Psalm 66:18). "He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayers shall be abomination" (Proverbs 28:9). But when we fear the Lord, worship him in spirit and in truth and do his will in faith and abide in his love, God will truly hear us. The Word of God says, "The Lord is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous" (Proverbs 15:29). God is calling us to repentance, let us turn from our ways and accept Jesus wholeheartedly today. Time is running out so call on the Saviour, come with a broken and contrite heart; come with a willingness to surrender  all to Him, because He is waiting to hear from you and to save you for eternity.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah' (Exodus 15:23). The Isralites were on a high after the Red Sea experience and their deliverance from slavery in Egypt and Pharaoh's army. The Lord led them this way become He wanted them to realise that He was their God, their Deliverer, and their Protector. The people  murmured against Moses and God, but the Lord showed them that He was still willing to guide and protect them and be their Healer, if they would look to Him. When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters because they were bitter, so they murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink" (verse 24)? Sometimes  things happened to us in life, and we become very bitter and callous. It may be family issues; a friendship gone sour; conflicts; marriage broken down; sickness or even the death of a love one. But we need to guard against bitterness cree...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...
