'Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite'
(Psalm 147:5).

The Lord our God, the Saviour and Creator, is  great and powerful. He is a great King above all Kings and His understanding is infinite. As human beings, with our finite minds we cannot think to fathom His wisdom or measure his knowledge. God is a God of possibilities. All things are possible with Him, even the things that are impossible to us. He is the same God who put the stars in place and hung the earth in space. He is able to count all the stars in the galaxy and has a name for them all. He created every thing in the earth out of nothing and formed man from the dust of the earth, then breathe His breath into him and he because a living soul. What a great and powerful God we serve. With our finite minds we can never understand the infinite knowledge or wisdom of God. He us infinite in time, in love and in space. His understanding is unsearchable and is love immeasurable. If we truly understand the goodness of God and reflect on His greatness and power, we would revere and adore Him. We would praise and adore him day and night. Our Lord did not just created all things, He sustained everything he had made. He didn't leave His creation by chance and said, "I created you do now go and take care of yourselves." No! That would have been chaotic.  He is a God of order and ordered all things in heaven and in earth. How great is the power of Our Lord and his understanding is infinite. We can see the goodness of God all around us and even been manifested in our lives. Let us take Jesus at his word, acknowledge his great power to help and save us in all we encounter through life's journey. Let us appreciate and be thankful for His creative, sustaining and redemptive power, as follow Him. Let us acknowledge and give praise for His infinite wisdom and understanding.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah' (Exodus 15:23). The Isralites were on a high after the Red Sea experience and their deliverance from slavery in Egypt and Pharaoh's army. The Lord led them this way become He wanted them to realise that He was their God, their Deliverer, and their Protector. The people  murmured against Moses and God, but the Lord showed them that He was still willing to guide and protect them and be their Healer, if they would look to Him. When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters because they were bitter, so they murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink" (verse 24)? Sometimes  things happened to us in life, and we become very bitter and callous. It may be family issues; a friendship gone sour; conflicts; marriage broken down; sickness or even the death of a love one. But we need to guard against bitterness cree...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...
