'Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved' (Psalm 55:22).

God is faithful now as he was in the past and has never failed us, because He loves us more then we can imagine. His love is so great, that He came down from heaven in the form of His Son Jesus Christ to die for us, sinful beings. Therefore, in all of our sticky situations and our messed up lives, He proves time and time again that we can rely upon him. No matter what we are going through, it is not too much for God to bear, because there is nothing too hard for him. We are living in dangerous and trying times where people are experiencing anxieties, depression and some have become hopeless and ready to give up as they cannot see beyond, in all that's happening. Some people have rejected God, whilst some have a problem with Jesus our Saviour being God. Whatever the situation, God's love never changes and He is gentle calling us to cast our cares upon him for He will sustain us. Let us learn to commit our ways   unto the Lord and trust him, who is able to bring them to pass (Psalm 37:5). David betrayed by his friend became overwhelmed by his troubles; overcame by grief and was deeply emotional and distress with all that was going on. So it is with many believers today who are experiencing challenging and difficult times. But as David took a moment to see the bigger picture, with confidence he turned his eyes on the Lord and cast his burden on him, knowing He would sustain and take care of him. We too ought to take our eyes off the problems we are facing and turn them over  to the Saviour, who can solved all our problems. We have a friend in Jesus, who is waiting to hear from us and will never suffer the righteous to be shaken. Each one of us has to know the Saviour for ourself. You have to trust in him and believe He will sustain you through all your difficulties, sufferings and pain. The hearts of men have become callous and hard-hearted - evil. We see leaders sacrificing the lives of their people for power and children and women being the victimised by cold-hearted men; a pandemic which is raging   war upon us all, amidst natural and man-made disasters. But we are reminded! Yes, we are reminded not to fear, for the Lord our God is with us, his presence is all around and his eyes are on us. It is time for Jesus to come.  So, all we need to do is to trust in Him and cast our cares upon him for He cares for us and will sustain and strengthen us. Let us, "take no thought of our life, what we should eat, or what we should drink; nor yet for your body, what you should put on. Is not life more than meat, and the body than raiment?"
(Matthew 6:25).  God will take care of our needs and sustain us, so if we trust in him, we will have no need to worry or fear.

Have a wonderful day and a blessed weekend 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah' (Exodus 15:23). The Isralites were on a high after the Red Sea experience and their deliverance from slavery in Egypt and Pharaoh's army. The Lord led them this way become He wanted them to realise that He was their God, their Deliverer, and their Protector. The people  murmured against Moses and God, but the Lord showed them that He was still willing to guide and protect them and be their Healer, if they would look to Him. When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters because they were bitter, so they murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink" (verse 24)? Sometimes  things happened to us in life, and we become very bitter and callous. It may be family issues; a friendship gone sour; conflicts; marriage broken down; sickness or even the death of a love one. But we need to guard against bitterness cree...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...
