'Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?'
(Romans 8:35).

Christ our Lord was before the world begun. He was in the beginning with God! God created all things through him and nothing was created except through him (John 1:3). God's love for his people is exceedingly great, that when sin raised up its ugly head, God already had a plan in place to counteract it. That is, He gave up his only Son to die for us, sinners. He wanted to restore us back to himself and the only person that could atone for our sin and set us free from its bondage was His Son. So, Christ came and die for all humanity, however, it is only those who accepted Christ and believed by faith that he is the Son of God, who came and die for our sin will be saved. All those who do not accept by faith the unmerited favour of God through the sacrifice of His Son, will have no part with God. It is God himself who went through the pangs of death to save you and me. The question is asked, "who shall separate us from the love of Christ?" All those who have the Spirit of Christ living in them are controlled by the Spirit and belong to Christ. We must recognise that nothing we do can keep Christ from loving us. Neither be it trials, tribulation, distress, persecution, hunger, nakedness, peril nor the sword, can separate us from the love of Christ. Instead, it is His love that is able to bring us through all these things that may affect us in our lifetime. When God is for us who dare to be against us? He who gave up his Son for sinners who didn't deserve it will indeed give us everything else. What a great God!  Despite all the things that we have done in our lives, God's love for us will never end - it is everlasting; nor can anything separates us from Christ's love. As believers, we are longing to go home with Christ, and is waiting with expectancy for the hope of eternity with our Father. God is never going to let go of us, and has proven his love by the sacrifice of his own Son, and we through Christ can be adopted as his Children, wherein we call Him Abba, Father. Let us seek to live for Christ daily and rest in him, knowing nothing shall separate us from his love.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14).  God is a God of peace and of such wants His Children to seek peace between themselves and others. We are also encouraged to pursue a life of holiness, which can only happen through having a relationship with God and being empowered by the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we turn the eyes of our heart upon Jesus, fixing the thoughts of our minds on Him, that His peace, like a river flows into our heart, and His holiness becomes a reality in our life as we consecrate it to Him. We are called to be holy in our thoughts, in words and our deeds; but cannot achieve it by our own efforts.  W e must be consecrated in body, soul, and mind, but not of our own strength. It is only through the empowering of the Holy Spirit that we can pursue holiness and be at peace with each other. Without the Holy Spirit leading us to live a life of ho...
