'In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: He heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even unto his ears' (Psalm 18:6).

In the presence of the Lord, there is joy and peace. Come before His presence with thanksgiving and cry out  to God, he will hear us. God cares for each and every one of us more than we can ever comprehend. David said, "In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God..." We too, like David, if we cry out to God and earnestly seek his face, He will hear and answer us, because He loves us and cares when we cry out to him. There is a song by Frank E. Graeff that says, "Does Jesus cares when my heart is pained, too deeply for mirth and song; As the burdens press, and the cares distress, and the way grows weary and long? O yes, He cares. I know He cares! His heart is touched with my grief.  When the days are weary, the long nights dreary, I know my Saviour cares."
God promises to wipe away every tear from our eyes one day, to all who are faithful. There will be no more sufferings or pain! All will be gone in the earth made new. Whatever you're going through right now, trust the Everlasting God and call upon his name. He is able to save you from the utmost. In times of distress and grief call upon God in prayer. We are privileged to be able to called upon the throne of grace, because of Jesus Christ our Lord. God through his grace and mercy will help us in times of our greatest need. When we sincerely come to God empty and broken, through our pain and distress, He will hear us from heaven and heal our brokenness. His ear is not dull that he will not hear us, so let us be confident that He will hear and accept our prayers through the aid of the Holy Spirit. Let the Lord be your rock, and fortress and deliverer and your strength in whom you trust in every circumstances of your life. Let us seek to walk in God's ways and keep ourselves pure and humble before him, so that He will hear us when we call upon him.

Have a wonderful day and a blessed weekend 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah' (Exodus 15:23). The Isralites were on a high after the Red Sea experience and their deliverance from slavery in Egypt and Pharaoh's army. The Lord led them this way become He wanted them to realise that He was their God, their Deliverer, and their Protector. The people  murmured against Moses and God, but the Lord showed them that He was still willing to guide and protect them and be their Healer, if they would look to Him. When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters because they were bitter, so they murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink" (verse 24)? Sometimes  things happened to us in life, and we become very bitter and callous. It may be family issues; a friendship gone sour; conflicts; marriage broken down; sickness or even the death of a love one. But we need to guard against bitterness cree...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...
