'Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established' (Proverbs 16:3).

Whatever you do, commit it to the Lord and He will direct your ways and established your plans. As believers we are called upon to commit our works and all our activities unto the Lord. But how many of us try to do it in our own strength, instead of in the power of the Holy Spirit? It is only through a life in Christ that God will carry out our works and activities.  If we are disobedient or fearful, proud and vain, how can God carry out His work in us? He is not going to force us! We have to give Him our heart and allow him to transform us. In order for our plans to be successful or achieved, we must dedicate our ways and our works to the Lord. By His grace He will use them to fulfil his purpose in us. All who put their trust and believe in Christ, should rely on God in all things and entrust them to him. He is the Sovereign God and hold sovereignity over everything. We have to allow Him to direct us as we follow him all the way, that we can see the blessings of the Lord. Let us seek to commit ourselves to God daily, so we can experience His blessings that he had promised us. As we commit our plans to the Lord, allow Him to have a His way in all we do, that they may be pleasing to him and bring glory to Him. God causes all things to work together for good for His glory, and shall make it come to pass. Knowing this and having the assurance will bring us God's peace, and we shall not be fearful or anxious, because we know His way is the best way. Let us roll all our actions, good or bad unto the Lord and allow Him to rearrange our thoughts, purposes and intentions for his glory. Let us keep praying and study His Word daily, giving everything over to Jesus and trust God wholeheartedly in committing our works unto him, so our thoughts can be established according to His will.

Have a wonderful day

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'For his merciful kindness is great towards us: and the truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise the Lord' (Psalm 117:2). The most important thing in life is having a relationship with God. It is through this relationship that we get to know our Maker and experience His love and His truth. When we recognised what God has truly done for us; of his great love and his faithfulness towards us; it should lead us to give Him praise and extol His holy name. God is kind to all his creatures and merciful to us as sinners, therefore, we know his merciful kindness is great towards us. In Christ, God has shown his mercy mixed with kindness, in giving up his Son to save us from our sins. For even though our sins be great, God's mercy is even greater than the sin. God's truth endures forever as his promises are sure. He is not slack concerning His promises to His people. He is trustworthy and faithful. The faithfulness and truth of God given in his promises never fails; nor does t...

'But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident for, the just shall live by faith' ( Galatians 3:11). Paul in speaking to the Galatians, admonished them not to listen to heresies, that would jeopardise their relationship with Christ. The same message is relevant to us today as well. Paul here was saying, following the law cannot save us. It is our trust in God and having  faith in his Son, Jesus Christ, that can make us  right with God. That was evident, that the just shall live by faith, not by our own works. It was Christ who had redeemed us from the curse of the law by the shedding of his precious blood. We are save and made right by God's grace through faith in Christ Jesus. Abraham was justified, because He believed God  and was accounted righteous. We who are seeds of Abraham, will receive the blessings of Abraham by believing in Christ by faith and not works. The Promised blessings of Abraham by God, wasn't just for him alone, but ...
