'And he said into me, it is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely' (Revelation 21: 6).

Christ is the fountain of the water of life, that he wants to give us freely.  Revelation 22:1 put it like this, "And he shewed me a pure river of water proceeding out of the throne of God and the Lamb." It is only Christ who can give us that living water, so we may never thirst against; He will do so without a cost. In this passage of Scripture, Christ identified Himself as the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, who sat upon the throne of God and promised to make all things new. He also is the One who declared, "It is done!" If any of us is athirst, Christ will satisfy our thirst so we may never be thirsty again. What a wonderful promise! When we accept Christ by faith, His grace will save us and bring satisfaction to our thirsty souls. Jesus is coming soon for his people, and at his return, the righteous dead, and those who are alive in Him will be with him for eternity. Satan will be judged; the wicked who became instruments of Satan, will be punished; death will be destroyed, swallowed up in victory and Christ on His majestic throne will say, "It is done!" All the former things will be will pass away and behold all things He will make new. Let us through the power of the Holy Spirit, seek to have the mind of Christ, and to be in Christ as we look towards his glorious appearing. For everyone who has been saved by grace through faith in Christ, will escape the second death, which Christ took for us at the Cross. Their souls will be refreshed, and the Lord will wipe away all tears from their eyes. Let us purpose in our hearts to be saved and to help other thirsty souls to come to a knowledge and understanding of who Christ is and what He has done for them.

Have a wonderful day

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah' (Exodus 15:23). The Isralites were on a high after the Red Sea experience and their deliverance from slavery in Egypt and Pharaoh's army. The Lord led them this way become He wanted them to realise that He was their God, their Deliverer, and their Protector. The people  murmured against Moses and God, but the Lord showed them that He was still willing to guide and protect them and be their Healer, if they would look to Him. When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters because they were bitter, so they murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink" (verse 24)? Sometimes  things happened to us in life, and we become very bitter and callous. It may be family issues; a friendship gone sour; conflicts; marriage broken down; sickness or even the death of a love one. But we need to guard against bitterness cree...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...
