'Now if we be dead in Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him'
(Romans 6:8).

All who have died with Christ, shall also live with him. In baptism we died with Christ on a spiritual level and are resurrected to a new life, being born of the water and of the Spirit. Everyone who is in Christ, must believe he or she will live with him in eternity at His Second Coming. We must understand that when we put our faith in Christ and died with Him, we are no longer a slave to sin. Let us offer ourselves as instrument of righteousness, rather than allow our bodies to be used for sin by the Devil. As believers, it is our obligation to obey God and not continue in sin, but give ourselves totally to the Saviour, who has  taken the shame and death due to us at the cross. Let us accept the righteousness of Christ, that will lead us to eternal life in Him, and seek to become more like Him. By faith we must believe that we shall be alive with Christ presently and eternally. As Christ was raised from the dead, so we are raised from the death of sin through baptism. As Christ was resurrected and lived, so we are resurrected in the newness life with Christ, coming up from the watery grave of baptism. We live in holiness because Christ is holy, and our body is the temple of the Lord. Let us with steadfastness of heart and the power of the Holy Spirit, purpose in our hearts not to live in sin and be slave to it. But let us seek the righteousness of God, and believe we shall live throughout the endless ages of eternity with Christ, our Lord.

Have a wonderful day

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah' (Exodus 15:23). The Isralites were on a high after the Red Sea experience and their deliverance from slavery in Egypt and Pharaoh's army. The Lord led them this way become He wanted them to realise that He was their God, their Deliverer, and their Protector. The people  murmured against Moses and God, but the Lord showed them that He was still willing to guide and protect them and be their Healer, if they would look to Him. When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters because they were bitter, so they murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink" (verse 24)? Sometimes  things happened to us in life, and we become very bitter and callous. It may be family issues; a friendship gone sour; conflicts; marriage broken down; sickness or even the death of a love one. But we need to guard against bitterness cree...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...
