He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: He that accept understanding shall find good' (Proverbs 19:8).

The wisdom from God  brings peace and prosperity to one's life, and is freely offered to all by God.
When we ask God for wisdom, He will grant it unto us. He said that if any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God...and it shall be given him (James 1:5).
In getting wisdom we love our own soul, but if we reject the offer of wisdom it is to love death.
We are told to love wisdom: and with all our getting, get understanding (Prov 4:7).
King Solomon the wisest man described wisdom as, "...More precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her"
Proverbs 3:15).
In getting wisdom we need to humble ourselves and fear God.
Dedicated yourself to learning and God will grant you the power of right judgment. That is, knowing what you can do in any situation that arises.
Let us seek to also accept understanding by hiding God's Word in our hearts, apply it to every situation and consistently meditate upon it.
Each of us who is in Christ, need a wise and understanding heart, like King Solomon.  A heart to know and fear God; to keep His written Words and apply them to our everyday life. A heart that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwell in.
Let us prepare our minds and be desirous of getting wisdom. In having a heart that knows and fear God, takes consistent prayer. We must pray for and claim it, by utilising every means to accomplish it. We must strive to hold fast to the instructions of God and keep it, that we can find good. Let us be committed and intentional as we abide by the doctrines of the Gospel of Christ and not depart from it.
Let our life be in Christ, that we can experience His peace and love; to receive joy and comfort in this world of sin.
We must endeavour to look forward to the day we can spend eternity with Christ in the world to come, giving glory and honour to him, as we experience happiness and eternal life.

Have a  wonderful day

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'For his merciful kindness is great towards us: and the truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise the Lord' (Psalm 117:2). The most important thing in life is having a relationship with God. It is through this relationship that we get to know our Maker and experience His love and His truth. When we recognised what God has truly done for us; of his great love and his faithfulness towards us; it should lead us to give Him praise and extol His holy name. God is kind to all his creatures and merciful to us as sinners, therefore, we know his merciful kindness is great towards us. In Christ, God has shown his mercy mixed with kindness, in giving up his Son to save us from our sins. For even though our sins be great, God's mercy is even greater than the sin. God's truth endures forever as his promises are sure. He is not slack concerning His promises to His people. He is trustworthy and faithful. The faithfulness and truth of God given in his promises never fails; nor does t...

'Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead , yet shall he live;' (John 11:25). The story of Lazarus is a well known one in the Bible. He and his sisters Martha and Mary were friends of Jesus, who loved them. Lazarus became sick and died, and after four days Jesus raised him from the dead. This was more for benefits of those around including His disciples, so that they may truly believe that God had sent him.  He was speaking  with Martha who was more focused on the telling Jesus the problem, than demanding a specific solution. We too can be so focus on the problems we faced, that we forget that God is  much bigger that the problem and is our solution to them. When Jesus told her Lazarus would rise again, she understood it to mean he would live again someday. But Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believes in me, though he was dead, yet shall he live." Christ at this time, was able...
