'Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you'
(Isaiah 35:4).

We are living in the last days of earth's history. We see the signs foretold of these final days happening before our eyes. Men's hearts are failing them for fear; leaders and people alike are confused and crippled with fear. Jesus is soon to come! Those who trust in the Almighty God will not fear because Christ is with us and in us. He promised in His Word to strengthen and help us in these times. We are commanded to pray without ceasing, study and search the Scriptures that testify of Him; to get ready for His second coming, calling men and women to their sense of danger of not accepting Him. There are some of God's people who are hasty of heart, inconsiderate of the promises of God or may even be having doubt in the word of God. We are to encourage them to be strong in faith, fear not the enemy, but to behold God, who will come with vengeance against the enemies of God and His people. He will take vengeance on them that know him not, disobeyed his Gospel and persecuted His people - His church. As Saints of the living God, be encouraged and  faithful, looking to Jesus, knowing He will never leave or forsake us. He will come back as promised with recompense to save us, and to fill our hearts with hope. Those who reject Christ as the Son of God, who made themselves enemies of God and persecuted His children; will receive a just recompense of punishment for their sins and transgressions. But for His faithful Saints a just reward to them who feared His name. Let us be encouraged as we lay hold upon the strength of God. To be strong in the Lord, strong in His strength, safe as He upholds us. Let us seek and pray for the strengthening help of the Holy Spirit.

Have wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14).  God is a God of peace and of such wants His Children to seek peace between themselves and others. We are also encouraged to pursue a life of holiness, which can only happen through having a relationship with God and being empowered by the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we turn the eyes of our heart upon Jesus, fixing the thoughts of our minds on Him, that His peace, like a river flows into our heart, and His holiness becomes a reality in our life as we consecrate it to Him. We are called to be holy in our thoughts, in words and our deeds; but cannot achieve it by our own efforts.  W e must be consecrated in body, soul, and mind, but not of our own strength. It is only through the empowering of the Holy Spirit that we can pursue holiness and be at peace with each other. Without the Holy Spirit leading us to live a life of ho...
