'Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord' (Lamentations 3:40).

It is important for each one of us to develop an intimate relationship with God. This kind of relationship comes from spending quality time with God, by daily studying His Word; by meditating and reflecting on His Word; by praying and giving thanks. The prophet Jeremiah called Israel to pray. He wanted them to take a good look at the way they were living and turn again to God. We too are called to do the same. We need to ask God to reveal to us the areas of our life that need to change. We say we love God but our actions prove out whether this is true or not. We are call to search our hearts and examine our ways. We must then in confession and repentance turn again to God. Let us search our ways and try them by the Word of God,  the standard of our faith and practice. Let us seek to try our thoughts, words and our deeds by the law of God; which is holy, just and good. Let us search and examine our sinful ways, acknowledge our sins and our iniquities; asking God to pardon us and help us to turn  to Him and His ways. He will graciously receive us and be ready to forgive and pardon us. What a wonderful God we serve! His love knows no end, it is everlasting. Let us search after a knowledge of our Saviour and Lord and His grace. The One who saves us by His grace wants us to turn afresh to Him. We ought to be conformed to His sufferings and death by the renewal of our minds.  Let us be aware of our spiritual condition; and be careful of self-deception and self-righteousness, which can lead us down the wrong path and end in sorrow. Therefore, aspire to live a God-centred way of life that will last forever.

Have a wonderful day🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...

'And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah' (Exodus 15:23). The Isralites were on a high after the Red Sea experience and their deliverance from slavery in Egypt and Pharaoh's army. The Lord led them this way become He wanted them to realise that He was their God, their Deliverer, and their Protector. The people  murmured against Moses and God, but the Lord showed them that He was still willing to guide and protect them and be their Healer, if they would look to Him. When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters because they were bitter, so they murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink" (verse 24)? Sometimes  things happened to us in life, and we become very bitter and callous. It may be family issues; a friendship gone sour; conflicts; marriage broken down; sickness or even the death of a love one. But we need to guard against bitterness cree...
