'For the Lord is our Judge, the Lord is our Lawgiver, the Lord is our King; he will save'
 (Isaiah 33: 22).

Oh, how wonderful! O, how marvellous is our God to us. He loves us so much that he came down in the person of His Son, Jesus Christ to rescue us from sin and death. Jesus the incarnate God, endured the shame and the cross to restore us to the image of God, that was marred at the entrance of sin, and to reconcile us back to our heavenly Father. God had committed all judgment to Christ our Lord, so he could judge his people; to right our wrongs, and avenge our injuries inflected by our enemies. He is indeed our Lawgiver, He not only gave us his laws in which we should abide, but he wrote them on our hearts and put his Spirit within us, to enable us to keep them. He is also our Sovereign King, ruler of the world. He is our Creator and therefore, has the authority and right to govern us. He made us and not we ourselves.  As His created beings, we rebelled against his kingly authority, yet it is He alone who can save us. He came in the likeness of sinful flesh, so he could condemn sin in the flesh; by the shedding of his precious blood, in order to save us. Yet even in this world, men still despise and reject him, failing to acknowledge him as their Creator and Saviour.  Christ our Lawgiver, became our Saviour! He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace is upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5). Today, Jesus is pleading to the Father, with His blood on our behalf. Will you not surrender all to Him, today? I give you Jesus, my Lord, my Judge, my Lawgiver and my King. His kingdom will never end, and He is willing to save you to the utmost. Take him at his Word. He is trustworthy, fair and just. We are bless to have him as our judge, because he knows us better than anyone else. Let's give of ourselves to Jesus.

Have a wonderful day🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
