'Wherefore we receiving a  kingdom which cannot be be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear' (Hebrews 12:28).

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. We cannot go to Father except through The Son. Christ's death and resurrection means eternal life for all who trust and believe in Him. He is the One who offers salvation to mankind; because He is the means to our salvation and also the rewarder. Under the Old covenant, the blood of bulls and goats were offered up as the atoning sacrifice, which was a type of Christ, who was to come. It didn't offer easy access to God, as the new covenant under grace. The new covenant offered something better, something beyond rituals  and earthly needs. By faith in Christ, we are now apart of a kingdom that cannot be moved, and an inheritance kept for us in heaven. In Christ we have peace in God, a peace that passeth all our understanding. As we cling to that old rugged cross, which is despised by the world, we must have hope in Christ, our Saviour, who died on that  cross to save us. Let us praise God with prayers of gratitude and thanksgiving for all the wondrous things He has done for us. We also need to lift up our Saviour in praise and gratitude, for bearing the shame of the cross and all our sins, to save us. To be truly thankful and grateful that our hope of eternity depended on what He did for us. Let us therefore, hold fast with favour the privileges afforded us to be accepted into Christ's unshakable kingdom - the kingdom of grace. For us to granted this privilege we have to accept this wonderful gift of salvation in Christ by faith. Let us hold fast the doctrine of grace as we serve God in Spirit and in truth, by faith in Christ, with reverence and godly fear.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14).  God is a God of peace and of such wants His Children to seek peace between themselves and others. We are also encouraged to pursue a life of holiness, which can only happen through having a relationship with God and being empowered by the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we turn the eyes of our heart upon Jesus, fixing the thoughts of our minds on Him, that His peace, like a river flows into our heart, and His holiness becomes a reality in our life as we consecrate it to Him. We are called to be holy in our thoughts, in words and our deeds; but cannot achieve it by our own efforts.  W e must be consecrated in body, soul, and mind, but not of our own strength. It is only through the empowering of the Holy Spirit that we can pursue holiness and be at peace with each other. Without the Holy Spirit leading us to live a life of ho...
