'Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us'
(Psalm 62:8).

God is our Rock and our Shelter in the time of storm. He is our salvation and our glory, we must seek to find refuge in him. We must trust him when we can see clearly and in times when shrouded in utter darkness. God truly deserves our confidence at all times, and we need to place our confidence in him; trusting him with all our hearts as we lean on His everlasting arm. God is always willing to hear from us, in fact, He is always seeking us out himself. We must therefore, trust him and   pour out our hearts before him; unburdened our soul to him; lay bare our hearts before him, because He is a refuge for us. Whenever you face difficulties, temptations, trials remember God is by your side. He is a present help in times of trouble. We do not know what lies ahead of us in 2021, but one thing we can be certain of, is who holds our future - our future is in God's hand. We need to trust him at all times, to cast all our burdens on him, when it is too heavy to bear. We must exercise faith in God, through Jesus Christ, and learn to cast our souls on his goodness, his faithfulness, his power, his promises and his providence. In our discouragement, doubts and fears learn to trust God at all times - in prosperity and in adversity. In Christ we have peace and hope, let us come before him and pour out our griefs, empty ourselves of our burdens. He promises to make our burdens light, as we cast our cares upon him. He is never tired of hearing from us, so let us purpose in our hearts to trust him at all times, to make him our friend and counsellor. Today, come to him confessing and pouring out your heart, allow him to work a good work in you, and create a new heart in you. To God be the glory, great things he will do for all who come to him.

Have a happy new year and blessed weekend 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14).  God is a God of peace and of such wants His Children to seek peace between themselves and others. We are also encouraged to pursue a life of holiness, which can only happen through having a relationship with God and being empowered by the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we turn the eyes of our heart upon Jesus, fixing the thoughts of our minds on Him, that His peace, like a river flows into our heart, and His holiness becomes a reality in our life as we consecrate it to Him. We are called to be holy in our thoughts, in words and our deeds; but cannot achieve it by our own efforts.  W e must be consecrated in body, soul, and mind, but not of our own strength. It is only through the empowering of the Holy Spirit that we can pursue holiness and be at peace with each other. Without the Holy Spirit leading us to live a life of ho...
