'Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God' (Hebrews 3:12).

God is a loving God, who do not wish for any of us to perish, but to have eternal life. That's the reason He send His Son Jesus Christ to take that death we deserved as sinners, so we can have eternal life with Him. After Israel's deliverance from being captive in Egypt and through the Red Sea experience, they came right on the border of the Promised Land but lost their trust and confidence  in God. Due to their lack of confidence in Him, He allowed them to wander in the wilderness for forty years, and not seeing the promised land, except for Joshua and Caleb along with the younger generation, who didn't experience captivity in Egypt. We need to hold fast our faith in God, in every situation; whether it be through afflictions or persecutions, let us not lose faith. We ought to be thankful for Jesus Christ, and that as believers, we are saved from eternal death, and is promised eternal life through Christ. We therefore need to encourage each other to trust God wholeheartedly, that we may be able to see the fulfillment of His precious promises. Let us not make the same mistakes Israel made, but to endeavour to learn from them. We saw Israel time and time again, murmured against God and complained and fell from His grace. They suffered much because of their unbelief, therefore dishonouring God. Our loving God, doesn't want that for his Children. He wants us to prosper, trust Him, be confident in his promises and for us to live with him for eternity. We are therefore warned, to take heed, lest there be in any of us an evil, unbelieving heart that departs from the living God. Let us by faith, trust in God that we may not fall from grace, or bring dishonor to our God, but to obey His Word and complete the work He commissioned us to do. Let us take special care, not to allow doubt and unbelief to fill our heart, but by the power of the Holy Spirit purpose in our hearts to live a victorious life in Christ that honour our God and bring glory to him.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...

'And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah' (Exodus 15:23). The Isralites were on a high after the Red Sea experience and their deliverance from slavery in Egypt and Pharaoh's army. The Lord led them this way become He wanted them to realise that He was their God, their Deliverer, and their Protector. The people  murmured against Moses and God, but the Lord showed them that He was still willing to guide and protect them and be their Healer, if they would look to Him. When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters because they were bitter, so they murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink" (verse 24)? Sometimes  things happened to us in life, and we become very bitter and callous. It may be family issues; a friendship gone sour; conflicts; marriage broken down; sickness or even the death of a love one. But we need to guard against bitterness cree...
