'Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ' (Titus 2:13).

Every believer's hope is built on the righteousness of Jesus, our Rock. Without His death and resurrection, there would be no hope in this world and no entrance in the heavenly courts of God, or eternity with Him. We would all be lost forever! Christ our High Priest is in heaven, in the Most Holy place interceding on our behalf as He judges the world. One day He will burst the clouds of heaven and make his glorious appearing, to take His faithful people awaiting the blessed hope of his returning. Let us wait  patiently for Jesus's return by faith, amidst our trials, tribulations, afflictions and persecutions. Christ will reward us for our obedience and faithfulness when he comes. What a glorious day that will be when Jesus appears for the righteous believers, to take them from this wretched, miserable and ghastly world, to spend eternity with him. We are instructed to look for that blessed hope, and glorious appearing of our great God and our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Let us be watchful and sober as we wait in expectancy for His soon return. We do not know the day or the hour of Jesus's returning, because it is only God, the Father who knows. But we do know that Jesus is coming back, so as we anticipate His coming, let us in faith hold steadfast to that assurance and blessed hope. Let us prepare our hearts by denying ungodliness and worldly lusts; but strive to live soberly, righteously and godly lives that will prepare us for God's kingdom. Jesus will come in the clouds with power and great glory; and it is only those who believed on Him and had been faithful and obedient, that will be able to stand the brightness of his glory, at His appearing. We all have choices; to chose Jesus and eternity or Satan and eternal damnation, for there is no middle ground. Today, God is reaching out to each of us, and imploring us to choose wisely. His hope is not for any of us to perish, but to have eternal life with Him. Choose life eternal with Jesus and claim the promise of the blessed hope and his glorious appearing. Do you want eternal life? Then chose right, choose Jesus, our only hope.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...

'And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah' (Exodus 15:23). The Isralites were on a high after the Red Sea experience and their deliverance from slavery in Egypt and Pharaoh's army. The Lord led them this way become He wanted them to realise that He was their God, their Deliverer, and their Protector. The people  murmured against Moses and God, but the Lord showed them that He was still willing to guide and protect them and be their Healer, if they would look to Him. When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters because they were bitter, so they murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink" (verse 24)? Sometimes  things happened to us in life, and we become very bitter and callous. It may be family issues; a friendship gone sour; conflicts; marriage broken down; sickness or even the death of a love one. But we need to guard against bitterness cree...
