'Trust in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength'
(Isaiah 26:4).

Many people trust in man, in science, in material things they acquired and in the universe, but lack trust in God. They want to trust in something tangible that they can see or touch or can make sense of in their finite minds. But God is the Creator of all the things they seem to trust in - His creation. So why not trust in the Master Architect of all created things? Trust in God begins with having an intimate relationship with him. In life we trust others who we feel connected to. We get to know someone by spending quality time and daily building a relationship with them. It is the same principle with God. You must get connected to God by spending quality time with him, through the  study of His Word and daily lifting your heart to him in prayer, as you build a relationship with Him. When we learn to trust in Him, he promised to keep us in perfect peace as our minds are stayed on Him (Isaiah 26:3).Who does not want peace? Everyone of us is yearning for peace, but nothing can bring you peace, except God. Perfect peace which is the fruit of God's righteousness is available when we trust God. He is our Refuge in every trial we face and our Rock of Ages in the storms of our lives. It behoves us to trust Him. Trust in the Lord brings peace, and at the cross righteousness and peace embraced and kiss each other in our loving Saviour Jesus Christ. Without righteousness there is no peace and without peace there is no righteousness. They both work together - Christ is our righteousness and our peace. We are therefore called to trust in the Lord, our Righteousness for ever. Let us trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not to our own understanding. God is our Fortress in times of trouble and our everlasting Rock. In Him is everlasting strength and righteousness for his people. When we trust in the Lord, we will have refuge in this world and in the world to come. God has been the Rock of his people in the past, the present, and will be in ages to come. Let us trust completely in the Lord our everlasting strength for ever.

Have a wonderful day and a blessed weekend 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and

'I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you' (John 14:18). Jesus is awesome and full of compassion. He loved his disciples and wanted them to understand about His death and resurrection; that He would be going away for a while. He knew they would be confused and devastated, so he hastened to comfort them. He said, 'Let not your heart be troubled: Ye believe in God, believe also in me...I go to prepare a place for you...I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also' (John 14:1-3). He also promised another Comforter, that he can abide with them forever. What a merciful and loving Saviour! He went further to say he would not leave them comfortless; but will come to them. He was like a father to them, as He and the Father are one. Therefore, He promised not to leave them fatherless, or as an orphan. But will come to them. Speaking of His death and resurrection He said that in a little while the world would not see him no more

'Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still' (Psalm 4:4). God knows everything about us, because he is God, our Creator and there is nothing that can be hidden from him. He knows the heart and the intents of the heart; Our thoughts, emotions, desires and motives, whether they be good or evil. He knows the godly from the ungodly, and have set apart those who are godly for himself, and will hear when they call unto him (verse 3). We are all called to be in a right relationship with God. Those who accept this call should have daily communion with Him through the study of His Word, prayer and supplications, allowing the Holy Spirit access in their hearts, that they might not wilfully sin against Him. We need to search our hearts daily and be silent before God as we contemplate his grace and his mercy towards us, and He will reveal Himself to us. When our enemies seek to do us harm, or people speak lies about us, simply look to Jesus and trus
