'Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth' (Psalm
124:8).

It is important to note who God is. He is Elohim, our Creator, Sustainer and Judge. He is our Provider, Protector Deliverer, and our Comforter. The three in one concept of a loving Father, Son and Holy Spirit working in unity for the good of humanity. The Psalmist says, "Our help is in the name of the Lord..." Can you imagine! If it wasn't for the Lord on our side, where would we be, what would be our end? When we feel overwhelmed, distressed,  or going through trying and difficult times turn to Yahweh our Deliverer and help; the Self-sufficient and eternal God. The Lord who is our help will strengthen and sustain us by His power, in our difficulties. There is tremendous power in the name of Jesus, the maker of heaven and earth, and our help comes in his name. In the name of Jesus we can do all things. His power is beyond anything we could ever imagine. If you're feel unsafe, threatened, despondent anxious or in danger, just call out the name of Jesus and He will help and deliver you. He is our Strong Tower where the righteous can run to and be saved. The Lord never go back on His promises and will faithfully preserve his chosen people. He did it for Israel and He will do it for us, who has believed in Him. When we trust in the Lord, we will experience His loving care, even amidst the snares of the Devil and we can rest assured in His loving arms that he will take care of us. Let us put our trust and confidence in the name of the Lord, because He is our  salvation and our help comes from Him only. He will do more for us than we are able to ask or think, because He is our Creator and there is power in His name. Let us be thankful and praise the name of the Lord who has not left us as prey to our enemies but has rescued us and set us free from the bondage of death, as we experience his mercy and grace. Let us trust the Lord for the future as we express confidence in His ability to help us.

Have a wonderful day🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah' (Exodus 15:23). The Isralites were on a high after the Red Sea experience and their deliverance from slavery in Egypt and Pharaoh's army. The Lord led them this way become He wanted them to realise that He was their God, their Deliverer, and their Protector. The people  murmured against Moses and God, but the Lord showed them that He was still willing to guide and protect them and be their Healer, if they would look to Him. When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters because they were bitter, so they murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink" (verse 24)? Sometimes  things happened to us in life, and we become very bitter and callous. It may be family issues; a friendship gone sour; conflicts; marriage broken down; sickness or even the death of a love one. But we need to guard against bitterness cree...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...
