'For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy towards them that fear him'
(Psalm 103:11).

Even though we know that Jesus died to save us, we still cannot fathom the depth of his love for humanity. But His unfailing love towards those who fear him is great as the height of the heaven above the earth. How amazing! When we think of the fear of God, it is about  reverence to Him. When we recognise that he is God and there is none like him, it should lead us to total obedience and humility. Have you ever gazed up into the heaven and marvelled at the creative power of God? Our eyes can only see what the naked eye can see, our mind cannot understand what's beyond. God's love is way beyond and extended further than we can imagine. It is immeasurable! When you recognise what God has done for you, it is mind bogging! You have to give him praise. It behoves us to obey God and walk after him and fear Him because his mercy is so great. We cannot measure the bounds of the universe, because our thoughts can't go there, but God's love is beyond all that. Those who reverence and serve him, recognise how great the mercy of God is. He loves us and will love us forever, regardless of what we have done, but  it is the bad choices we make that will separate us from God. Let us seek the Lord  right now, reverence and serve Him so we can experience His great mercy towards us. His mercy and love is incomparable and we can  only imagine the heights of the heaven as we see it, but only God sees beyond because He is the Creator. Only those who fear the Lord will experience the great heights of his love for them. Do you want to experience His love and great mercy? Then seek to reverence and glorify God.

Have a wonderful day

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...

'And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah' (Exodus 15:23). The Isralites were on a high after the Red Sea experience and their deliverance from slavery in Egypt and Pharaoh's army. The Lord led them this way become He wanted them to realise that He was their God, their Deliverer, and their Protector. The people  murmured against Moses and God, but the Lord showed them that He was still willing to guide and protect them and be their Healer, if they would look to Him. When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters because they were bitter, so they murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink" (verse 24)? Sometimes  things happened to us in life, and we become very bitter and callous. It may be family issues; a friendship gone sour; conflicts; marriage broken down; sickness or even the death of a love one. But we need to guard against bitterness cree...
