'Thou has set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance'
(Psalm 90:8).

Good is the All-knowing and the All-seeing God. He knows and sees everything about us, including our sin.  There is nothing hidden from His all-seeing eyes. We may have committed sin and inquity may have taken root in our hearts, of which we are ashamed of, or tried to cover up, but we cannot hide from God. Therefore, seek the Lord diligently, acknowledge those sins, confess them to the Lord, as you seek His forgiveness. The Lord loves us, but if we have sin and inquity in our hearts, and refuse to let go of them, the Lord will direct his wrath at us. He loves us, but hate the sins we have committed. The Bible tell us that the wages of sin is death, but he gift of God is eternal life through Christ. Know that, when God sets our iniquities before him, he will deal with them with severity. There are those who sinned against God openly and others secretly, and if they don't turn away from such deeds, will severely feel the hands of God upon them. If they don't confess these sins before God they will be lost for eternity. God is light and in him there is no darkness. So when we commit secret sins, He will unearth those hidden things and expose us to His marvellous light. We then have this glorious opportunity to seek His forgiveness and embrace the light of his countenance, as it shines in our hearts and around us. Let us not forsake the Lord, but allow his tender hands to guide us; knowing we have been redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus, and are saved by His marvellous grace. Let us be ready to set our iniquities before the Lord, as well as, our secret sins, in the light of Christ's countenance.

Have a wonderful day

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14).  God is a God of peace and of such wants His Children to seek peace between themselves and others. We are also encouraged to pursue a life of holiness, which can only happen through having a relationship with God and being empowered by the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we turn the eyes of our heart upon Jesus, fixing the thoughts of our minds on Him, that His peace, like a river flows into our heart, and His holiness becomes a reality in our life as we consecrate it to Him. We are called to be holy in our thoughts, in words and our deeds; but cannot achieve it by our own efforts.  W e must be consecrated in body, soul, and mind, but not of our own strength. It is only through the empowering of the Holy Spirit that we can pursue holiness and be at peace with each other. Without the Holy Spirit leading us to live a life of ho...
