'He hath made the earth by His power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion'
(Jeremiah 10:12).

We are created beings, created by God to worship him. He who hath made the earth by his power, put the stars in place and hang the earth in space, spoke and everything was done. He not only created them, but sustained and preserved all things; He   is indeed worthy and should be worshipped - him alone. It is God, the true and living God of the Universe, that established the world by his wisdom and who have stretched out the heavens by his discretion or understanding. Israel was God's chosen people, who were to be a light to the heathen nations around. They  copied the practices of these nations, and worshipped their idols, instead of the true and living God. It is the Almighty God who created the universe and sustained it, whereas those senseless and lifeless idols could not have done. Yet still Israel chose to leave God and worshipped them. What are our gods today? Is it our fame, self, money, education, or maybe other man made images? Can they protect you, provide and sustain you in any way? Can they see, ear, speak or even touch you? Let us remember the true and living God, who loves and wants to save us, to spend eternity with us. Let us seek this loving God through the study and meditation of His Word, through prayer and supplications. Let us through the power of the Holy Spirit be rooted and grounded in the faith, ascribing all glory to God, the One who can save us to the utmost. It is God, who by His wisdom sets the world in order. The sea knows not to pass its boundaries, its set aside on the earth to retain its own habitation and is prevented from covering the earth. The heaven is expanded by God's knowledge as it covers the earth like a canopy. How mighty and awesome is our God? We see many variations of the earth; the plains, the rugged terrain of the mountains, the gently or steepness of the hills, the various trees and plants that increase in beautify, the sandy white beaches, the cascading waters from rocks and many more in a world that is marred with sin. The beauty and majesty of the heavens, with all its amazing elements declare who is the true God. Let us celebrate and worship God in spirit and in truth, only He alone is worthy of our praise and allegiance.

Have a wonderful day

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah' (Exodus 15:23). The Isralites were on a high after the Red Sea experience and their deliverance from slavery in Egypt and Pharaoh's army. The Lord led them this way become He wanted them to realise that He was their God, their Deliverer, and their Protector. The people  murmured against Moses and God, but the Lord showed them that He was still willing to guide and protect them and be their Healer, if they would look to Him. When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters because they were bitter, so they murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink" (verse 24)? Sometimes  things happened to us in life, and we become very bitter and callous. It may be family issues; a friendship gone sour; conflicts; marriage broken down; sickness or even the death of a love one. But we need to guard against bitterness cree...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...
